What's the 1st thing you do when you wake up? Do you think about everything you have to do that day? Do you hop right on to social media? Do you have a smoke? Do you take some time to sit with yourself in silence? Do you drink water? Do you make tea or coffee? How do these things make you feel as far as energy and digestion? Are your daily waking habits aligned with the way you would like your day to go? Do you set good intentions for the day? Do you worry or think about stressful things? Do you get ready in a hurry and rush out the door? Does the work you do allow you to start your day the way you would like to? If not, what are you doing to change this for the better? Do you pray or meditate? Do you go outside in the sun and connect with the earth? Do you smile? Do you stretch your body? Do you sing or turn on music? Does the music you play speak life or death and destruction? What are some of the 1st sites you see? Do these things make you feel good or fill you with inspiration? Are you surrounded by life and positive imagery or clutter?
Would you say you have a healthy waking routine or a destructive one? Ask yourself what are some ways you can improve your daily waking routine. If you don't already, try stretching to loosen up your body. You may be stiff in places you didn't realize. Drink water! This gets the digestive track flowing properly. Go outside in the sun. You can receive more energy from the sun than you may realize. Some of my best days are started with simply going outside. Going outside and sitting in the grass with a cup of tea and no phones lead to even better days. I challenge you to speak or think 5 positive phrases when you awaken. These things can be simple or complex or even questions to ask yourself.

~ What are some things I can do to be a better version of myself?~
~ I am creating positive changes in my life~
~ I love myself~
~ I am living a high quality life~
~ Today is a prosperous day~
Even if these things don't exactly ring true to your current situation. The intention is speaking life and positively charging yourself to live your best life. The way your day plays out is strongly influenced by the way you start it. So when you wake up aim for healthier habits, set goals and SPEAK LIFE. Small changes lead to big changes.
